The Caring Kitchen Fundraiser for CHOC Children's Foundation

Why CHOC?

There are a few reasons I’ve chosen to fundraise for this organization. Disneyland has been doing the CHOC Walk to raise funds for the CHOC children’s foundation since 1990.

CHOC has raised millions of dollars to help children (and their families) in need.

I personally have friends whose children received the most amazing care at CHOC hospital. A few of those friends had children that passed away from cancer at a very young age.

As a mother of 2 littles, I cannot fathom ever going through something like this. One of my friends said that the hospital staff not only provided excellent care for their daughter up until her death, but they also brought an incredible amount of comfort to their family as they grieved. 

This foundation has done so much good in the world, and I am happy to contribute to them in any way that I can.

I chose my business name not only because I care about people with food allergies, but also because I care about giving back to the community, and it has always been a goal to use my business as a vessel to do so.

I will be raffling off several bakery items between now and the end of July (100% of the proceeds from raffle tickets will be donated to CHOC) and we’ll having another silent auction like we did last year (date TBA).
